The Chef’sChoice M610 is a budget friendly electric food slicer that features a seven-inch blade, tilted food carriage and structural components of cast aluminum and steel.

Our extensive line of electric food slicers offer the home and professional chef powerful a innovative options for preparing meals, entertaining cost effectively, controlling portions and enjoying freshly sliced foods.

The  Model 610 features a powerful, high-torque motor that is cool-running with reliable, smooth gear drive for virtually continuous slicing operation. The precision thickness control slices from deli-thin to approximately one-inch thick. It also features an intermittent and continuous on/off switch and special safety button that secures food carriage in “lock” position to limit access to blade when unit is not in use.

The Model 610’s combination of tilted food carriage and cantilevered design provide fast and efficient, virtually non-stop slicing directly on to large trays or platters. The food carriage retracts fully to permit slicing of extra large roasts, hams and other foods.

The cantilever design also offers easy access for cleaning. Clean-up is a breeze because the multi-purpose stainless steel blade, food carriage, food pusher, food deflector and thickness guide plate all remove easily.

    Hey I got one of these and I really like it. I would like to be able to use it but the plastic housing that the blade retaining screw goes into broke. I called the company and they said they would send me a new one. They haven’t.

    After less than two inital hours of intermittent uses, one of the three tiny plastic sliders (that look like tiny white “buttons”upon which the blade slides when rotating) broke off. The unit is now useless because the blade cannot maintain balanced rotation without these tiny slider “button”. As an additional observation: The three slider buttons are friction points that are sure to wear out eventually. Can they be replaced? If so, some spares would have been an important “bonus”.

    This Chef’s Choice Premium Food Slicer model 610. Was working very well, but not too long after having it the plastic blade shaft on the motor housing broke off and rendered the unit useless unless the plastic shaft is replaced.

    I have tried to order the blade screw 2 times for this product…Both times they say its on the way…that was AROUND Thanksgiving…STILL NO BLADE SCREW…won’t work without it please contact me about this problem…it not tell me where to get one

    I bought one of these 3 years ago and I use it almost every day. It slices ham, bread, meat, cheese exactly the way you want.
    Just the lock of the plate broke and I don’t know if I can replace it.

    This slicer worked great. I used it maybe once a month for two years to cut lunch meat, bacon, etc. at home. Never had a problem and it sliced great. Today it decided to just not power up. I checked the fuse and it’s ok. I looked at the internals and everything seems fine, no gunk or corrosion. The outlets are fine. It just stopped working. Since there’s no troubleshooting section in the manual I’m at a loss of what to do with it.

    I have used this about 6-10 times. Today I went to use it and the black lever that locks the slider literally broke into six pieces. It holds a pin. I’m not sure if it can be replaced or not. after about 6=10 uses it is a bit irritating. I see it only has 2 stars. wish I would have checked manufactures site before purchase.

    I have enjoyed using the slicer to make chicken jerky treats. But now there is a high pitch squeal that I have no clue how to troubleshoot. Read manual, but don’t see tips for maintenance or troubleshooting. So frustrated.
